Step by step to your new smile
A holistic teeth correction for your health is important to us!
The treatment plan is designed efficiently in order to achieve the desired results as quickly and gently as possible.
Step 1
Consultation
During the consultation, your orthodontist will discuss the possible treatment options with you. A digital 3D scan of your teeth is taken. It is no longer necessary to take an unpleasant dental impression. The 3D scan is absolutely pain-free and can be completed within 20 minutes while you visit the doctor's office.
Step 2
Your individually planned dental correction
Based on the intraoral 3D images, our experts can plan each phase of your tooth correction. An animated 3D simulation will show you how your teeth reposition. Also, you will see the time frame of the treatment as well as the results. Your orthodontist will be happy to discuss your treatment with you in detail. Further he will tell you more about the various options of teeth repositioning using the XpertLigner.
Step 3
Your XpertLigner
In Carinthia, your aligners will be manufactured to fit you precisely. After your orthodontist receives your aligners, he will make an appointment with you. He will show you how to wear the XpertLigner, answer all your questions and instruct you on how to properly handle and take care of your XpertLigner.
Step 4
Progress control
In general, it will take about a year to complete your treatment and to achieve the desired results. Should you only need minor corrections, it might take less than a year. To ensure that your teeth will remain in their new position permanently, a retainer is required. It will prevent teeth from returning to their initial position after the treatment. In principle, there are two types of retainers: fixed and removable retainers. A fixed retainer consists of a thin metal wire which will be placed on the inside of the upper and lower dental arch. This is particularly important if teeth were severely misaligned. The removable retainer is a special aligner which you should wear constantly during the first few months. Upon consultation, you may switch to only wearing the retainer at night. Your orthodontist will be happy to discuss the best options for you.

In weiterer Folge können Sie diesen in Absprache mit Ihrem Kieferorthopäden nur nachts einsetzen.
